Embracing the Cycles of Creation.

The Dance of Energy, Creativity, and Business

In the rhythm of life, there is a dance of energy, a ceaseless ebb, and flow that weaves through our existence. These pulsating cycles of energy not only influence our creative expressions but also shape the very essence of our businesses and leadership roles. Today, I invite you to explore the intricate interplay of these energies and the profound impact they have on our lives.

A Lifelong Journey

For as long as I can remember, I've been intimately acquainted with these cycles of energy. Looking back, it's a beautiful tapestry that I've woven throughout my life. I've existed within a delicate balance of external, and outward expression and its counterpart, internal rest and restoration.

This harmonious dance has manifested in all facets of my career. From a young age, I found myself drawn to cyclical businesses, where work surged with intensity during specific times of the year, only to quiet down in others. I've always been immersed in the realm of creation and creativity, nurturing these aspects of myself.

My journey commenced in the world of dance instruction. As a dance teacher, I witnessed the ebb and flow in my classes. There were seasons of high energy and activity, followed by moments of respite. It was a cyclical journey that mirrored the very essence of life.

This path naturally transitioned into a long-standing career as a bridal hair and makeup artist. In this profession, the seasons played a significant role. Spring through early autumn brought bustling activity, followed by a spacious winter for reflection and rejuvenation. Looking back, I now understand that these career choices were intrinsically connected to the cyclical nature of my being.

Honoring the Rhythms

What became evident as I reflected on my journey was that I never thrived in the conventional 9-5 p.m. corporate world. It simply didn't align with my natural inclinations. Instead, I gravitated toward roles and careers that allowed me to honor the cyclical essence within me.

These realisations now infuse the work I offer the world through my sacred business. I stand beside women on their journeys of awakening, healing, cellular restoration, and birthing their unique projects, be they children or businesses.

Just as I've lived through cycles, so too do I guide others through these beautiful patterns of creation.

Resting in the Void

Frequently, I retreat into the depths of my private space, my inner sanctuary. Here, I find solace in reflection and contemplation. It's a space where I release and let go, akin to the energy of winter.

It doesn't always align with external seasons, for we move to our own rhythms.

From this deep wellspring of solitude, new creativity emerges, much like the promise of spring following a long winter's slumber.

This space, often described as the void, can be a source of uncertainty and fear. We might question our purpose, feel lost, or grapple with the desire to grasp for answers. Yet, it's within this very void that we must allow ourselves to rest.

It's here, in the dark, fertile depths, that new beginnings take root.

The Birth of Creation

From this sacred space, inspiration sprouts, and we swiftly move into action. Before we know it, we're nurturing the burgeoning creation, much like a gardener tending to their precious plants. We water, we nurture, and we watch as our creations grow and come to life.

I share this journey from a recent experience of resting in my inner void. A sense had been growing within me that something new wanted to emerge. At times, I met this sensation with resistance because everything seemed to be working seamlessly in my external world. However, an undercurrent of newness persisted.

Honoring the Journey

Our cycles of creation can lead us to moments of feeling lost, disconnected, or uncertain about our work and creativity. In these moments, we often internalise these emotions, doubting our abilities and worthiness. We may contemplate giving up or feel frustrated and overwhelmed.

However, I firmly believe that these cycles exist to teach us valuable lessons.

They hold sweet medicine within them. It's during these times of deep potency, in the void, that we gather the wisdom, insights, and tools we'll need for what comes next. By reframing this void as a potent and fertile space, we embrace divine inspiration.

I've dedicated myself to supporting women as they navigate this unknown terrain and untangle the conditions within themselves. It's about creating the space for something deeper and more aligned with their message, brand, vision, and why.

This journey is rooted in a grounded and embodied place.

Honoring the Body and Nervous System

Embracing the cycles of creation is not just about respecting our inner rhythms; it's also a profound reverence for the body. The body craves the expression of cyclical energy, and the nervous system demands rest and integration. Through these processes, we emerge stronger and more resilient, ready to face life's challenges.

Expanding your body and your nervous system and your capacity to hold more, more visibility, more reach, more growth, more wealth. Exploring our habitual patterns in our nervous system. How we can honor and support our nervous system and body throughout our business and leadership, and throughout these cycles of creation, what it means to be an embodied leader and to truly lead from your essence, which is feminine and cyclical?

How do we honor ourselves fully whilst also showing up fully? Give ourselves completely to these cycles of creation that are constantly weaving their way through all of existence.
